In order to use the HubSpot Integration you need to first link your account:
Our integration works best on the HubSpot Professional, and HubSpot Enterprise plans.
In order to integrate your account - you first need to have a Singulate account.
1. Navigate to Integrations from the main panel
And click on “Connect”
2. On HubSpot - if prompted - choose your account - if you only have a single account on HubSpot this step will be skipped
3. Accept the permissions on HubSpot
Our app is currently private while we are in early access:
These permissions allow Singulate to sync your contacts when prompted, access and manage your workflows to created automated personalized emails, generate personalized emails, and sync critical details.
On the Enterprise plans, or if you have the Transactional add-on, we are also able to automatically publish emails to add to your workflows.
Singulate will never take an action on your account unprompted, and all your contact data is removed when no longer needed. We do not access any contact data that is not configured to be synced to Singulate either via a Contact List import, or an Automated workflow.
Click on “Connect app”
4. Configure a default sender and your default subscription type
The sender email would be the one you’d typically want to use for your automated workflows, it can be manually overwritten on any Workflow.
The subscription type is the one you typically use to manage your unsubscriptions on HubSpot and it is a required field on HubSpot.
Once done - click on “Next”
For this next step Singulate will calculate some usage metrics for your properties - it can take up to 30 seconds for the page to advance.
5. Map Singulate’s suggested attributes
Singulate has a list of recommended attributes - which may be updated over time - that we encourage all customers to map to a property on their HubSpot account.
Email is a required field.
In this page your should find the most relevant attribute on your HubSpot account that best represents the data expected by Singulate, for example, you should match your HubSpot’s “First name” property to Singulate’s “First name”
The “Usage” indicator gives an estimated usage based on sample contacts on your contact list.
6. Mapping additional properties
Singulate allows you to import common attributes used on all your campaigns
You can use the toggle “Show other properties” to see all your properties.
We recommend only importing none, or a few (up to 10) critical properties at this stage - you can always add additional properties to your Contact Lists, or Automated emails.
NOTE: Singulate will not show HubSpot native properties (properties starting with “hs_”, or properties starting with the key “singulate_” - if you need access to these additional properties please contact support.
Click on “Finish”
Congrats. You are ready to start leveraging the HubSpot Integration!
