Integrate Your Zapier with Singulate

Before You Begin

Make sure you're logged into:

  • Your Zapier account, ideally with the Gmail address you intend to send emails from.
  • Your Singulate account.

To Set Up Your Zapier Integration

Once you're logged into both accounts, here's how to set up the Singulate<>Zapier integration and create your first singulated Zap flow:

  1. Head over to your Singulate account.
  2. Click Integrations in the left side menu.
  3. Look for Zapier and click Connect.
  4. You should see an invitation to use Singulate on Zapier appear in a new window. Scroll down until you see the orange Accept Invite & Build a Zap button, and click the button.
  5. Inside the Zapier window, you're going to build a new Zap from scratch, so click the + CreateNew Zap.
  6. Click Trigger and type Singulate in the search bar above the app options to find the Singulate trigger.
  7. Once the Select the event panel appears, click Trigger event > Deliver Campaign Email.
  8. Under Account, click Select and the name of the Singulate account you're connecting to Zapier. Click Continue and Test trigger to confirm the trigger works.
  9. Now click on the record you're going to use to send emails via Gmail, and when you're done, click the purple Continue with selected record button.
  10. The app list will appear to let you choose your action step. Select Gmail from the list, and click Action event > Send email.
  11. Under Account, click the Select button and choose the Gmail account you'll be sending emails from, and click Continue.
  12. Now you're going to map your Singulate email attributes to your Gmail email attributes. The forward slash (/) is your friend here, so type it in the fields to move a little faster. Here's how to map your Singulate > Gmail attributes:
    1. Leave the To: field empty, or type "/" and select the To: option that appears in the panel.
    2. Scroll down to the From: field select the Gmail account you're sending emails from.
    3. Under From Name, type the name you want your contacts to see in their inbox.
    4. Under Reply to, type "/" and select the Reply To option that appears in the new panel.
    5. Under Subject, type "/" and select Subject: Text subject for integrating...
    6. Under Body type, select HTML from the dropdown menu.
    7. In the Body field, type "/" and select the Email Content HTML option in the panel that appears.
  13. Once you're done mapping your Singulate > Gmail attributes, click Continue > Test step > Publish.
  14. Now head over to your Singulate account. The blue button under the Zapier integration should now say Configure and a red Disconnect option should appear to the right of it. This confirms your Singulate <> Zapier integration is complete!

Important note: When creating Singulate campaigns that you intend to send via Zapier <> Gmail, click Campaigns, click Create new, and under the “Sending with” dropdown, select Zapier as the sending with option.

That way your singulated campaigns will send properly via Gmail.
