We’re Hiring: Founding Account Executive (GTM Lead)

Build and execute a revenue strategy & GTM engine at a fast-growing startup in an enormous industry being disrupted by AI. 60-40 base and uncapped commission. OTE range $160-$190k. It’s an exciting time. As we scale from our pre-seed stage, we’re looking for a Founding Account Executive as our GTM Lead, to build and execute our revenue engine, shape our sales playbook, and deliver exceptional experiences for every customer.

The Role: Founding AE

This is not a standard sales role; you're multi-hat wearer building from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll have the opportunity to set our GTM strategy and shape our PMF story. You’ll partner with a small but mighty team including engineering and product, as well as contractors in marketing and copywriting, to build scalable processes that take us to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership. Drive end-to-end sales—inbound and outbound prospecting, product demos, proposals, negotiation, and contract signing—to achieve monthly ACV targets (typically 1–3 deals/month).
  • Pipeline Building & Management. Keep HubSpot organized and operational: build a healthy pipeline, ensure data hygiene, and maintain accurate forecasting and visibility for yourself and the founders.
  • Demo & Process Standardization. Create and refine the sales playbook—pilot agreements, scripts, slide decks, outreach templates, contracts, and onboarding checklists—to ensure a delightful, repeatable pre-sale experience.
  • Sales Materials Development. Build your own messaging, playbooks, and collateral from scratch—and iterating quickly based on results.
  • Collaborate on Outreach Strategy. Partner with marketing and founders to craft targeted email/nurture sequences, LinkedIn campaigns, and content-driven playbooks that drive demo requests and conversions. Likely using our own platform.
  • Pilot Management & Success. Lead pilot engagements: structure campaigns, track metrics, get users to early wins, and negotiate pilot extensions and upsells.
  • Feedback Loop. Capture and share customer insights—feature requests, usability notes, and competitive intelligence—to inform product roadmap and marketing messaging.
  • Quota & Commission Accountability. Own a clearly defined quota with a competitive commission plan; report on pipeline and progress regularly.
  • Brand Ambassadorship. Represent Singulate at industry events (virtual and in-person), webinars, and online communities; contribute thought leadership through social posts, especially Linkedin, blog posts and customer success stories.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven B2B SaaS Sales Experience. 3.5+ years closing mid-market or enterprise deals at an early-stage startup. Ex-founder is a plus.
  • HubSpot Savvy & Process-Oriented. Familiar with configuring and leveraging HubSpot for tracking and reporting, able to create processes and operate HubSpot independently — no hand-holding required.
  • Exceptional Written Communication. A “writer’s eye” for flawless emails and persuasive slide decks; a confident verbal presenter who shines in one-to-many demos. Bonus: A love for good copywriting.
  • Prospecting & Outreach Mastery. You know how to source new leads, craft high-impact outreach, and maintain a relentless follow-up system that turns interest into closed deals. Bonus points if you can share your best cold email!
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset. Familiar with interpreting email campaign performance data translating insights into ideas and growth strategies (using our product) for you and your customers.
  • Self-Starter with Initiative. You’re proactive, resourceful, and don’t need to be chased—if something needs doing, you just make it happen.
  • Technical Curiosity. Eager to dive into an early-stage software product, report bugs, and even use Singulate on our own GTM efforts (“eating our own dogfood”).
  • Flexible Multi-Hat Wearer. Thrives in fast-moving environments: you’ll help shape our GTM engine, pricing strategy, and revenue-scaling processes as we grow.

    U.S.–based (East Coast preferred) or fully remote with strong overlap in Eastern Time hours.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary plus stock option packages. 60-40 base and uncapped commission. OTE range $160-$190k.
