We just wrapped up September and Q3, so I wanted to share an update on where we’re at as a business. If this is your first time reading about us, here’s a quick recap of the Singulate story.
How we started
Nico was just finishing up at 11x and John and I were still at Hopin (exited to RingCentral and Bending Spoons), when we decided to quit our jobs and start Singulate in spring 2024.
We had found an enormous problem, one we experienced ourselves, and a unique technology approach — and decided it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
In June 2024, we raised our first round of funding. We hired a team and started building the product, speaking to hundreds of marketing leaders on calls and events.
Over and over again, conversations validated what we had experienced past experience - everyone was frustrated with messy data, manual marketing ops, and meaningless personalization.
We rounded into 2025 working closely with design partners, honing and sharpening the product to fit the market’s needs.
The GTM bet
In late spring, we sold our first commercial contract to a Fortune 500 company and converted 65% of our design partners into customers. We were lifting off, but we needed to grow faster.
In August, we made a bet. Our company had been heavily focused on product and engineering until that point. I was the only GTM person. What if we flipped our investment focus to accelerate GTM? Yes, we’d accelerate our burn, but if it worked, it’d take us to the next level.
We put our money where our mouth (i.e., top of funnel) was and turned our full attention to growth, pulling out all the stops, and took the month of August to build out a top of funnel growth engine with people and scalable systems.
We launched an Instantly integration to use Singulate for outbound. We hired a hybrid SDR who dogfooded our own tool to book demos. We stood up Linkedin ads and automation. We partnered with influencers. We narrowed the definition of our ICP, and updated our website and sales deck.

Did it work?
As August ended, we were all systems go in September.
And it worked.
We ran 108 demos in September (even with one week off for Inbound).

We closed our best month of ARR in September, and October already has more than enough pipeline to double MoM.
We’re working with incredible companies like Goldcast, QuestionPro, Brandlive, Zoom, Onescreen, and more to power their lead re-engagement, event invites and follow ups, and outbound systems. HubSpot and Instantly have been fantastic integration partners.
Also, we didn’t stop building on the product side!
We released Singulate Research - it’s like Clay custom data enrichment BUT without the spreadsheets and tables. Singulate uses web crawlers and LLMs to pull in any contact and company research while you’re writing, to segment and personalize with, generated at the time of send, so it’s fresh. In other news, we’re SOC 2 Type II certified!
What we’ve got coming next is a giant step forward, making Singulate even more agentic and automated. But I’ll save that for the next update.
A personal reflection

If there’s one lesson I’ve learned being a startup founder this year, it’s that this job is like living with a weighted vest on at all times. It’s heavy. You feel it. It never goes away. You constantly wish you could move faster.
But whether you see it or not, it’s making your body stronger. You learn and adapt to the extra weight, growing the muscle needed to support it. You learn to think, move and work with it. You learn to act more strategically, more stably, and more grounded. Small things bother you less, and the big things become less big.
We’re entering a new chapter in Singulate’s journey. I’m excited to share it with you. Thanks for following along with us.
